Professor Danielle George recipient of CBE 2024

On Wednesday the 17th of April 2024 Professor Danielle George attended the investiture event at Windsor Castle, to receive her CBE (Commander of the British Empire). This was for the amazing her contribution to science communication, engineering and inspiring the next generation, especially women, to choose engineering as a career.

Danielle attended the event on a sunny if a little cold day in Windsor with her family and was given her medal by Anne, Princess Royal. Danielle said “what an amazing day this has been, I feel so honoured to be given this award and also be able to share the occasion with my family and young daughter.”
